Marriages

Thinking about getting married at St. Mary's?

If you live within the parish of Wollaston and Strixton, or you have a meaningful connection with the parish then getting married at St. Mary's should be straightforward. Your first step is to contact the vicar, Revd Adrian Morton, to arrange a meeting where your proposed date can be agreed and the 'getting married at St. Mary's' process explained to you.

The vicar will marry couples, under certain conditions, where one or both of the partners has been divorced and their past partner is still living.

Support for couples marrying at St. Mary's

As well as offering support for planning the wedding day itself, we offer all couples getting married at St. Mary's a 5-week marriage preparation course. We use 'The Marriage Preparation course' by Nicky and Sila Lee.

See http://relationshipcentral.org/marriage-preparation-course for more details about the course.

Support for all married couples

We also run 'The Marriage Course' by Nicky & Sila Lee every two years. This is a 7-week course that gives married couples an opportunity to invest time in their marriage. Previous courses have been run in the function room at the Wollaston Inn, which provides a fantastic atmosphere for a great night out as a couple.

Contact George or Judi Anderson georgeanderson@btconnect.com for details on when the next course will run.

See relationshipcentral.org/marriage-course for more details about the course.
